Its been long time since i posted some thing
Lots have happened with me and around, Texas is treating me well till date. The place where i stay is totally dominated by our Indians.
And when SRK came to perform in one such Indian dominated place he was pulled for questioning, lot of hue and cry when the same happened. Fine i accept SRK's views, about why he spoke against it. But one thing which was Heart breaking was, the public support he got. I am not at all against it. but where were all this people when the same happened to our former President Mr Abdul Kalam. SRK just represents Indian film industry, where as Our Former president represents India. and Mr Kalam's episode happened in India, what a shame. where were all the ministers then. very Awful. So much internal tussle with the issue, giving lot of ammunition to the media. I am referring to Salman and Amar singh's media bytes on SRK and reactions from SRK. And Mr Amar Singh cries about his kidney problem from Singapore hospital and attributes the reason to supporting Congress, any takers? all this makes us think, is there a hidden child in all grown ups?

Its not the public... It's the media who publicizes the issue.. which gives us an impression as thought it's the public who is supporting it.....
The higher authorities act on media pressure... hence the statements to satisfy them.. simple.. :)

Great Blog... I agree .. the media.. or the people does not matter should have spoken up when it happened to our President..a man of such virtue.. SRK... an actor..who is good..I love his acting but we make the difference the people. ya..we need to grow our hidden child to voice our issues and have the same opinion for a cause of the same nature..Quit blaming others for our actions..

A nice posting even though after a long time..
Its more a media hype than anything..
Imagine this was the case if a former US president was frisked by anyone!!!
Sad that our great man was not backed up..
Wonder whether the airlines had apologized him yet??

There's nothing that we ca do abt it, coz we r on the minor hand & the people who love media extremely is on the major hand! Untill & unless this scale balances, we do not have any kind of access to alter them! V can only feel sorry for our Former President...

The feeling that would have evoked in an average Indian would be similar in both instances....
It's just that Srk is in such a business where he attracts more ppl (media included) ..... :) And hence would have got a few out spoken reactions..
